Code Savanna is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering and supporting the next generation of leaders in technology and entrepreneurship in Zambia. Our mission is to promote socio-economic development by providing youth with the skills and knowledge to become self-sufficient individuals who can make a positive impact in their communities.
We are building the largest digital community of its kind, offering community-building, academic support, and career development opportunities at scale. With access to such a strong network comes the responsibility of upholding the honor code adhered to by all members within the community, at your college/university, and place of work, ensuring respect, value, and inclusion for everyone.
All participants of Code Savanna are expected to abide by our Code of Conduct, both online and during in-person events. We prioritize respect, compassion, understanding, and inclusion, expecting all members to act on these values.
In the interest of fostering an open and welcoming environment, we pledge to make participation in our community a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of age, body size, disability, ethnicity, gender identity, and expression, etc.
Zero tolerance for dishonest, inappropriate, disrespectful, and/or hateful messages and actions. If you experience any issues regarding the Code of Conduct, here are a way that you can report it to us:
All reports will be reviewed and investigated, and appropriate actions will be taken. We hold the right to remove comments or contributions not aligned with this Code of Conduct, or to ban members for inappropriate behavior.
Consequences for violations include but are not limited to strikes, temporary suspension, and permanent suspension, depending on the severity of the violation.
